Echo 1055 is a private student housing complex featuring 215 units spread across 350,000 square feet located near the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) campus on East Tropicana Avenue. The apartment complex consists of primarily 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom units, as well as an assortment of smaller 1-bedroom and larger 4-bedroom units with a total of 601 beds. The amenities are located on the ground floor and contain facilities such as the reception area, administrative spaces, secure and visitor parking zones, as well as a retail area.

 

Located on the second floor of the complex is two courtyards, one designed for active use and the other for passive relaxation, alongside amenity spaces and residential units. The upper floors accommodate the bulk of the residential units and also house more amenity spaces. In addition, the complex includes a variety of amenities aimed at enhancing the student experience, including serene study corners, a yoga room, barbecue stations, a game room, meeting facilities, and a tranquil Zen garden.

 

TJK provided the electrical design for this project with consideration for the multi-purpose nature of the building. We provided the electrical and lighting systems as well as communications/telephone, data, wireless, and security for the housing and parking structure with safety and convenience in mind. Our design incorporates and considers elements that will accommodate the residents as they embark on their educational journey in a living space that supports their live, learn, work, play lifestyle.
