Born in Portland, Oregon, but raised in Las Vegas, Jenny Gentleman comes from a diverse background – her mother, a Polish immigrant, and her father, a descendant of the Chippewa Tribe in North Dakota. Jenny earned a marketing degree from UNLV and spent five years at R&R Partners, specializing in consumer research and strategic planning for clients in tourism, gaming, utilities, and healthcare. After stepping away from advertising to start a family, she founded and led a corporate meditation business, Pause, for 10 years.

 

Following the tragic October 1, 2017, mass shooting in Las Vegas, she became actively involved in gun violence prevention. Jenny launched a local chapter of BeSmartForKids.org, an education campaign encouraging the safe storage of firearms, and working closely with law enforcement and serving on the Clark County School District Safety Committee.

 

Outside of work, Jenny enjoys riding her electric bike, playing pickleball, cooking, and getting lost in a good book. Inspired by writers who create interesting stories and characters in books and movies. Her family would describe her as the soft place to fall for others, both a caretaker and a problem solver, always ready to find a solution.
