Mohave County Kingman Library was renovated with the intent to increase functionality and flexibility of the library spaces while improving performance of the existing systems. The library was transformed with a new look that remains authentic to the history of the Kingman area. Included in the renovation was the addition of  a teen area, children’s library, and meeting spaces. TJK provided the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and technology design for the 9,000 square foot addition and renovation of the existing 15,000 square foot library.

Our electrical design included new light fixtures and light levels to meet the library requirements as well as all general and emergency lighting, distribution design, power connection, and conduit layout for security surveillance, data and telephone system. TJK provided HVAC system design for the entire building as well as the plumbing calculations for natural gas, domestic water, waste and vent, and roof drainage.
