Trellis Paradise Skilled Nursing Facility is a short-term rehabilitation center that provides personalized 24-hour nursing and hospice services with 72 private rooms. The 47,925 square foot facility consists of recreation spaces, dining areas, a full kitchen, offices, a physical therapy space, and patient rooms with restrooms. TJK provided the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and technology design for the facility.

The electrical design included telephone and cable service, interior lighting systems, exterior building lighting, parking lot lighting, landscape lighting, drive lane lighting, emergency lighting systems, distribution and power service for the building and site, communication/telephone systems and wireless system, pathway for computer/data systems, intrusion and security camera system, emergency generator, and nurse call system. 

The mechanical and plumbing scope included HVAC system design, double line air distribution, design to incorporate the use of PTAC system for each patient’s room, general restroom exhaust, equipment room cooling, split system heat pumps for the fire riser rooms, IECC compliance for HVAC equipment, water and waste piping design, natural gas system design from the meter to all HVAC and plumbing equipment, condensate drain piping for the HVAC equipment, and roof drain piping design.
