TJK provided the electrical engineering design to remodel the first and second floor of the existing 92,738 square foot building. The Beverly Rogers Literature and Law (RLL) building originally opened in 1962 and is located near the center of the University of Nevada Las Vegas Campus. The RLL building houses the Honors College, English Department, and Black Mountain Institute (BMI). TJK has designed over 300 projects throughout the University of Nevada Las Vegas and provided innovative design to achieve the power and lighting standards to suit the upgrade.

 

Our scope of work included lighting design, IECC update, fire alarm upgrade, power distribution upgrade, communication system design, and audio/visual design for the Honors, BMI, English, and main lobby areas. Within those areas, TJK designed the entries, conference rooms, lounges, collections area, general areas, and break areas.
